LACTO PROBIOTICS

Lacto probiotics, such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, have for long been the only mass-market option when it comes to supplementing with probiotics. Lacto-probiotics are routinely prescribed alongside antibiotic therapy since antibiotics tend to wipe out our beneficial gut bacteria, being unable to differentiate between good and harmful bacteria.

HUMIC PROBIOTICS

Humic probiotics are essential to our well-being and are gaining ground very quickly in the marketplace. Many studies have concluded that over-farming and harsh chemical treatment of our agricultural lands have led to our bodies being deficient in many nutrients, in particular humic nutrients and probiotics.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HUMIC PROBIOTICS?

1.

Very stable. Humic probiotics do not require refrigeration, and they have a very long shelf life (between 3-5 years), provided they are stored at room temperature.

2.

Extremely effective and robust. Humic probiotics are far more robust than lacto probiotics. They are able to survive the harsh acidic environment of the gastric part of the stomach, and they require far fewer colony-forming units (CFU’s) than lactobacillus-based supplements to be effective. In fact, most of the colony-forming units in lacto probiotics do not actually remain viable to populate the small intestine.

3.

Vegan-friendly. Humic probiotics are extracted from virgin forest soil and are therefore 100% organically derived and vegan friendly, which cannot be said for most lacto-derived probiotics.

FULVIC ACID AND HUMIC ACID

The most prominent humic strain of probiotics is Bacillus Coagulans. Bacillus Coagulans is a thoroughly-researched, stable and safe probiotic strain with clinically proven anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. It is not only safe for adults but for children as well.

Numerous studies have shown that this particular strain, especially when combined with humic acid and fulvic acid, has the most positive outcome when dealing with the symptoms of SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), which is often characterized by bloating and discomfort. SIBO is a serious health concern, especially when it occurs in conjunction with LGS (leaky gut syndrome). Many health care professionals are in agreement that SIBO combined with LGS is the root cause of many diseases, including mental health issues, including Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimers.

Biome Wellness Probiotic Booster is a combination of Humic Probiotics, Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid, as well as certain enzymes (amylase, lipase, protease) that are essential for good digestion and general health and well-being.

If you’re struggling with digestive issues, a humic probiotic might be worth a try!
